On His Orders

Lieutenant Adrian Holt arrived clutching a manila folder and the courage of righteousness.

Sunlight cut through the study windows, illuminating rather than warming the cramped space. Military manuals bent the shelves with their weight, and papers carpeted every surface. The tang of stale tobacco clung to Adrian's nostrils as he faced the man he'd come to accuse.

Colonel Gerald Stanton hadn't bothered dressing. He stood in blue-gray briefs, his broad chest still beaded with water from a recent shower. A damp towel draped over a nearby chair suggested Adrian had interrupted a private moment. The Colonel's expression held no surprise—only mild annoyance and something like amusement at Adrian's discomfort.

"Falsified requisition reports?" Gerald's voice remained steady. "That's a serious allegation, Lieutenant. I hope you've verified your facts."

"I have, sir." Adrian's practiced confidence wavered in the stillness of the room.

Gerald gestured toward the desk. "Review them again."

After a moment's hesitation, Adrian moved forward. He turned pages methodically, aware of Gerald hovering just beyond his shoulder—a presence that seemed to absorb the light and radiate heat. With each document examined, the room constricted around him.

When he reached the final page, Adrian felt his certainty collapse. Every figure aligned. Every signature matched. The mistake was entirely his own.

He closed the file slowly, the room unnervingly quiet. The weight of Gerald’s eyes pressed on him like a hand between his shoulder blades.

“You see it now,” Gerald said, not unkindly.

Adrian’s jaw tightened. “I was wrong.”

“Say it properly.”

“I was wrong,” Adrian repeated, forcing himself to look at him. “The signatures match. There was no falsification.”

Silence stretched until Adrian could hear the clock on the mantel tick. His throat felt dry. He cleared it, painfully aware of Gerald’s state of undress — the man’s wide chest still faintly damp, briefs clinging to his hips, the faint line of hair running down toward what Adrian refused to let himself stare at.

“Perhaps…” Adrian said at last, voice brittle, “you should get dressed so we can discuss how to report this.”

Gerald’s expression darkened, the shift so subtle it was almost worse than anger. “Get dressed?” he said, very softly, tasting the words. “You barge into my home, accuse me of corruption, rifle through my papers — and now you want to dictate the terms?”

Adrian instinctively stepped back, then stopped, taking a shallow breath. “Sir… I—this isn’t necessary,” he said, a tremor in his voice. “I can’t—”

“No, Lieutenant,” Gerald said, stepping closer, closing the space with deliberate calm. “You don’t get to leave this room as if nothing happened. You came to put me on trial. Now it’s your turn.”

Adrian froze. His hands clenched at his sides. “I… I can’t do that,” he stammered. “This… it’s… inappropriate.”

Gerald’s gaze hardened, but not with anger. “You can,” he said quietly, almost soothingly. “You will.”

“I—sir—I won’t,” Adrian said, stepping back again, trying to create distance. Heat flooded his face. His body shivered, torn between instinctive defiance and the electric pull of the Colonel’s presence. “I can’t—this is—”

“Lieutenant,” Gerald interrupted, voice low but edged with iron. “You think you’ve held all the power coming in here. You think you’ve controlled everything. But you’ve been wrong, haven’t you?”

Adrian’s throat tightened, his eyes darting away. “I… I was wrong,” he admitted, though his chest heaved with rising tension.

Gerald’s hand flicked to his belt buckle, the metallic snap cutting through the room like a gunshot. Adrian’s heart jumped.

“Sir—”

“Take it off,” Gerald said, stepping just far enough back to leave the order unarguable. His gaze pinned Adrian in place, unyielding.

Adrian’s stomach twisted. He wanted to resist, wanted to assert himself, to step back, to deny the command. His hands hovered over his tunic, trembling. He swallowed hard, feeling the flush of shame, the prickling awareness of the Colonel’s eyes on him, scanning, unblinking.

Then, slowly, reluctantly, he obeyed. Tunic, undershirt, trousers — each layer removed with hesitant fingers, his body trembling, pale and soft from years behind a desk rather than physical labor. His thighs were rounded, untoned; his stomach curved gently, nipples pink in the sunlight. Sweat ran in thin lines down his back as he peeled the last garment free.

Finally, he stood in only his briefs, the cotton stretched tight across his hips. His face burned, his chest rose and fell unevenly, heart hammering like a drum. Gerald’s gaze swept over him, lingering briefly at the front of his briefs — at the unmistakable bulge — before returning to meet Adrian’s eyes. He said nothing.

Adrian’s pulse raced, a heady mix of humiliation and arousal coursing through him. The moment of resistance, however brief, had made the Colonel’s control feel sharper, more absolute — and the room felt unbearably charged with it.

Gerald’s hands came to Adrian’s shoulders, firm and unyielding, and gently turned him toward the desk. “Now we’ll go through those numbers again.”

He leaned closer, bracing one arm on the edge of the desk. Adrian felt the broad warmth of the Colonel’s chest pressing against his back, the subtle rise and fall of muscle and breath. The scent of soap, faintly musky, filled Adrian’s senses, uncomfortably intimate in the quiet of the study.

“You’ll read,” Gerald murmured, his voice low and authoritative. “And you’ll stay like this until I’m satisfied. Understood?”

“Yes, sir,” Adrian managed, swallowing hard as a shiver ran through him at the contact.

The first page trembled slightly in his hands. His eyes flicked down to the numbers, forcing them into focus. Each time his voice wavered, Gerald’s hand shifted along his hip, pressing just enough to steady him, to remind him that he was being held — caught — in more ways than one. Adrian could feel the subtle weight of the Colonel’s belly against his back, the solid warmth grounding and dominating him at once.

“You missed that one,” Gerald said after a moment, his finger brushing a column of figures. The touch traced over Adrian’s wrist, sending a jolt of awareness straight through him. “Again.”

Adrian obeyed, forcing himself to speak each number clearly, despite the heat rising across his shoulders and down his spine.

“You were ready to ruin me over this,” Gerald continued, his breath brushing Adrian’s ear, calm yet sharp. “You should have made sure you were right before coming in here with accusations.”

Adrian’s throat tightened. He kept reading, the words catching at the back of his jaw, his pulse hammering in rhythm with the closeness of the Colonel behind him. Every line of numbers became a test, every subtle press of Gerald’s hand against his hip or shoulder a reminder of how thoroughly his authority — and his body — had been overpowered.

Minutes stretched, the air thick with tension and the quiet scent of the Colonel’s skin. Finally, as Adrian reached the last figures, clarity hit — everything aligned perfectly, no discrepancies at all. The evidence lay clean in front of him.

Adrian slowly set the pages down, his hands lingering over the desk, aware of Gerald’s steady presence pressing against him. “Sir…” he began, voice low, “the numbers… everything matches. There was no falsification.”

Gerald straightened slightly, the weight of his body easing off Adrian’s back, but not fully — the touch still present, lingering. He studied Adrian for a moment, expression unreadable, then allowed the faintest curve of his mouth, almost approving, to appear.

Adrian exhaled, tension leaving his shoulders in a rush, replaced by a peculiar mixture of relief and heat. He had cleared the Colonel — and yet, standing so close, feeling that unspoken dominance, he realized just how exposed he had been.

Gerald’s gaze met his, steady and sharp. “Good,” he said quietly.

Adrian rose unsteadily as Gerald ordered him to stand, his breath hitching in his throat. The air was too warm, too bright, and his exposed skin prickled under the intense scrutiny.

“Turn around,” Gerald instructed. Adrian complied, his movements slow and deliberate, until he faced the Colonel. Gerald's expression remained composed, almost serene, but his gaze burned with intensity, pinning Adrian in place.

“Look at you,” Gerald said softly, stepping closer. Adrian could feel the heat radiating from him. “Red-faced. Shaking. You think it’s from shame, but it isn’t, is it?”

Adrian opened his mouth to respond, but Gerald's large hands settled firmly on his shoulders, effectively silencing him.

“You wanted control when you came here,” Gerald continued, his voice low and measured. “But you don’t have it now. And you know why?”

Adrian swallowed hard, his pulse racing. “Because I was wrong,” he admitted hoarsely.

“Good. Say it again.”

“I was wrong.”

Gerald’s eyes softened with an emotion that was neither approval nor hunger. “I think you need to be reminded what it feels like to be guided by a man who knows better.”

Before Adrian could respond, Gerald’s hands slid down his arms and gripped his waist, pulling him forward until their bodies touched. The sensation was intense—skin to skin, heat to heat—Gerald’s belly pressed firmly against Adrian’s softer stomach, his chest broad and damp from an earlier wash.

“Breathe,” Gerald commanded.

Adrian did, his breath shuddering as the tension eased from his shoulders.

With a quick motion, Gerald’s thumbs hooked beneath the waistband of Adrian’s briefs and dragged them down. The fabric slid over his thighs and pooled around his ankles. Gerald nudged them aside with his toe leaving Adrian completely bare in the bright afternoon light.

“You’re going to remember this,” Gerald said, his voice low and certain.

Then he kissed Adrian—not a gentle kiss, but a slow, deliberate claiming. Adrian felt his knees weaken, his hands gripping the edge of the desk for balance as Gerald’s mouth pressed insistently against his.

When Gerald finally broke the kiss, Adrian was breathless, his chest heaving. The Colonel’s hands guided him backward until the backs of his thighs touched the desk, then pushed him gently but firmly to sit. Gerald spread Adrian’s legs apart with steady pressure until there was nowhere left to hide.

The Colonel’s hands roamed with unhurried confidence, tracing the pale softness of Adrian’s chest, the slight swell of his stomach, the trembling of his inner thighs. Each touch was measured, exploring, until Adrian heard himself moan, low and helpless.

“You’ve been fighting me all day,” Gerald murmured against his ear, his breath hot. “Not anymore.”

Adrian’s whisper came out as a plea. “Please.”

Gerald’s mouth curved into a faint, approving smile. “That’s better.”

Gerald stripped off his briefs, revealing himself hard and ready. Adrian’s breath caught as their bodies touched. “First, you are going to learn how to give pleasure....on your knees.”

Adrian sank to his knees, the worn rug rough against his bare skin. Gerald’s hard cock stood thick and heavy before him. Adrian hesitated only a second before taking it into his mouth, the salt-tang of skin flooding his senses. Gerald’s hand settled firmly on the back of his head, not forcing, but guiding—a relentless pressure that set the rhythm. Adrian gagged, tears stinging his eyes as Gerald thrust deeper, the thick shaft hitting the back of his throat again and again. He struggled to breathe through his nose, saliva slicking his chin, the Colonel’s low groans vibrating through him. Minutes blurred into a haze of suffocating heat and strain, his jaw aching, until Gerald abruptly pulled back, leaving Adrian gasping.

Gerald hauled Adrian upright, spinning him roughly. Their bodies slammed together—chest to chest, belly to belly—skin slick with sweat and musk.

“Look at me,” Gerald barked.

Adrian’s eyes flicked up, but Gerald grabbed his jaw, forcing him to hold his gaze.

“When did you become a homo, Adrian?” The question was a snarl, low and guttural, the words like a slap.

Adrian’s breath caught. “I—I don’t know.”

Gerald’s hand slid down his chest, fingers dragging through the sweat. “You don’t know? You know exactly when. When was it?”

Adrian swallowed, shame burning through him hotter than the Colonel’s grip. “At school,” he whispered.

“School?” Gerald’s lip curled. He shoved Adrian back against the desk, grinding his belly hard into Adrian’s stomach. “Tell me what you did.”

Adrian shook his head, but Gerald’s thumb pinched cruelly at his nipple until he gasped.

“I—kissed a boy,” Adrian said, voice cracking.

Gerald grunted, pulling him forward again until their foreheads nearly touched. “You liked it.”

“Yes,” Adrian breathed.

“Say it like you mean it.”

“I liked it!”

“Better.” Gerald’s mouth crashed down on his, tongues tangling as their hands roamed. Adrian moaned into the kiss, surrender bleeding through every sound.

He buried his face in the Colonel’s damp armpit, inhaling the sharp, salty tang before licking a wet stripe through coarse hair.

Gerald growled, catching Adrian’s jaw again. “And now? You still want men?”

“Yes—sir,” Adrian said, almost choking on the words.

Gerald’s grin was feral. He pinched Adrian’s nipple hard, making him cry out. “Then take what you want. Take me.”

Adrian clutched at the thick curve of Gerald’s ass, grinding desperately against him, cocks sliding in the mess between their stomachs. Gerald’s teeth scraped Adrian’s shoulder as Adrian raked nails down his sweat-sheened back—no space between them, just heat and hunger and skin.

“Stand,” Gerald commanded, voice rough. “You’re going to take me. Do you understand?”

Adrian stumbled upright, legs trembling. Gerald turned him, pressing his chest flat against the desk, papers crumpling beneath his weight. One broad hand spread Adrian’s cheeks while the other slicked fingers probed, stretching him with ruthless efficiency. Adrian cried out, knuckles white where he gripped the desk’s edge. Then Gerald’s cock replaced his fingers, driving into him in one brutal thrust. Adrian arched, a choked sob escaping as Gerald began fucking him in deep, punishing strokes—each one jolting his body forward, the desk scraping across the floor with every snap of Gerald’s hips. The Colonel’s grip on his hips tightened, holding him open, taking him apart.

“Stay with me,” Gerald said.

Adrian did — through the last, deep thrusts until Gerald came inside him, pulling Adrian over the edge with him, his release spilling across the papers.

Gerald remained inside him after it was over, their bodies still joined as their breathing steadied. When he finally withdrew and pulled Adrian upright, the sudden emptiness left Adrian dizzy.

"Get yourself decent," Gerald murmured, his voice softer than before.

Adrian's fingers fumbled with buttons and fabric, his body not quite his own again.

The office hung thick with musk and salt, the evidence of what they'd done drying on military documents under the harsh afternoon light.

Gerald gestured toward the stained papers. "Better clean that before anyone sees," he said, settling against the desk with casual authority.

Adrian's jaw tightened, but he said nothing.

"That will be all, Lieutenant."

A brief pause, a curt nod, and then Adrian was through the door. Outside, cool air washed over his flushed skin while his pulse continued to race.

He was halfway down the stairs when he realized: his gloves. Left behind on Gerald's desk. The thought of returning made his stomach clench. Later, perhaps. Not now.
